Peter Nickels has over thirty years professional experience working as an architect in the UK, Hong Kong and Ireland. He established Peter Nickels Architects to focus on high quality, high performance, sustainable residential projects.
Peter believes that the choices we make when designing and refurbishing our houses have far reaching consequences, for our quality of life, for our physical and mental wellbeing, and also for our planet.
Peter is a Certified Passive House Designer and is passionate about the benefits that designing and building to the Passive House standard can bring to individual homeowners and building users, to our society as a whole, and to the environment. He lives and works in a Passive House that he designed for himself and his family; leading by example and encouraging clients and others to embrace Passive House for themselves.
